Dr. H. Wallace Goddard, often known as Wally, has made significant contributions to family life education through his work as a Professor in Arkansas and Alabama. He is renowned for his innovative books and programs on parenting, marriage, and family dynamics, including titles like Drawing Heaven into Your Marriage and Soft-Spoken Parenting. Wally played a key role in co-authoring The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families with Stephen Covey and has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Margaret E. Arcus Outstanding Family Life Educator Award. Alongside his professional achievements, Wally and his wife Nancy have three adult children, 14 grandchildren, and have fostered 20 children over their 50-year marriage.
